Start with the friction.

Entry-level job seekers in South Africa face three major challenges: fragmented information with opportunities scattered across many websites in inconsistent formats, low CV competitiveness where candidates are rejected due to poorly structured or ATS-incompatible CVs, and poor search visibility where smaller opportunities rarely appear in Google Jobs or search results. The market needed a centralized, intelligent platform purpose-built for entry-level talent.

Make the solution feel obvious.

We built StarterJobs as a centralized job aggregation platform with AI-powered career tools and SEO-first architecture. The solution features automated scrapers pulling data from 6+ South African job sources with intelligent deduplication, Google Gemini-powered CV revamp tools for ATS compatibility, a cover letter generator for role-specific applications, and StarterScore — a CV scoring system (0-100) highlighting ATS and content gaps. The layered Django architecture is optimized for performance, scalability, and search engine visibility.
